Horse–Dog Compatibility: Reading the Fire Group
Horse and Dog belong to the Tiger–Horse–Dog Three Harmony (三合) Fire group. This page reads their Wu–Xu pairing as a half-combination (半合), with Tiger absent. Horse's primary element is Fire and Dog's is Earth, so Fire also generates Earth. The resulting scores are 93 overall, 94 for love, 96 for friendship, and 98 for work. The useful question is what the group, primary elements, and generating direction each describe. Merging them into 'two fiery personalities' would lose the actual distinction between these signs and introduce a personality claim that the evidence does not support.

One half-combination, two distinct kinds of element information
Describing Wu–Xu as part of the Fire group does not mean changing Dog's Earth to Fire before comparing Fire with Fire. The group element is a property of a relationship; the primary element is a property of an individual branch. Both need to remain visible. Precisely because Dog's primary element remains Earth, this page can describe Fire generating Earth rather than wrongly calling the pair two identical elements or a Same-sign (比和) relation.
Horse and Dog are also only two members of the Three Harmony (三合) group. The absent Tiger cannot disappear into a footnote while the main text claims the complete group is present. Transformation is not established simply by putting two birth years together either. It requires chart-specific conditions. This page has no full charts, does not supply an absent branch, and does not claim that seasonal or visible-stem conditions have been met.
Why work reaches 98: a scoring offset, not a performance forecast
The page starts from 70, adds 18 for the shared Three Harmony (三合) relationship and 5 for the generating primary elements, producing 93. The current dimension offsets for that primary relationship add 1 for love, 3 for friendship, and 5 for work: 94, 96, and 98. This explains their displayed order. It does not establish that a Horse–Dog business will earn more than a marriage will satisfy; those real-world outcomes are not even comparable units.
In classification terms, this pair combines a shared group with an elemental generating direction. In practical hiring terms, who can handle clients or manage delivery still requires evidence. Automatically assigning Horse Fire to sales and Dog Earth to operations may sound tidy, but the table supplies no professional qualifications. A high score can invite a closer look at the traditional relationship. It cannot select a business partner or substantiate a promise of returns.
Horse man × Dog woman: generation is not a tally of his contributions
In this direction, his sign supplies Wu Fire and hers Xu Earth, so the stated elemental direction runs from his sign to hers. Generation, however, is not a count of caring acts, financial responsibilities, or emotional contributions. It neither proves that he gives more nor requires that she only receive. Turning it into fixed male and female duties would replace a checkable direction with an uncheckable story.
To examine actual chart interactions, retain which facts belong to which person and their pillar positions. Wu and Xu alone do not reveal either Day Master, so they cannot directly identify either partner as the other's Wealth, Officer, or Resource star. The male–female heading helps readers locate their pairing; it supplies no additional chart evidence. This is a material distinction between a zodiac comparison and a complete BaZi relationship reading.
The same 93 does not describe the same pair
Rabbit–Pig can receive this same set of scores, yet its branches form a Wood half-combination (半合), with Pig Water nourishing Rabbit Wood. Horse–Dog instead has a Fire half-combination (半合) and Horse Fire generating Dog Earth. The group element, participating branches, primary elements, and absent member differ. An identical formula is not a reason to tell both pairs the same story about one person supporting another's growth.
A friendship score of 96 also does not establish that meetings will always be lively or that disagreement will never occur. It comes from the dimension rules. What friends believe together, and whether they accept independent choices, belongs to the history of the friendship rather than the Wu–Xu table. Keeping those layers apart explains the equal numbers without flattening different people into an interchangeable relationship.
Horse woman × Dog man: changing genders does not reverse the arrow
With a Horse woman and Dog man, her sign's Fire still generates his sign's Earth; their half-combination (半合) also remains unchanged. A description that reverses the elemental direction to keep the man in the supplying role would contradict the facts. He can certainly care for her in real life, but that behavior is not a reason to rewrite Fire generating Earth as Earth generating Fire.
Nor does her position at the beginning of the elemental direction establish fatigue, depletion, or a need to give less. Neither full-chart strength nor a person's actual energy is supplied by this zodiac table. Preserve the direction accurately and let evidence describe the responsibilities in their lives. A high score should not preassign their marital roles.
Where the love score of 94 leaves the reader
Wu–Xu is not Six Harmony (六合), but it does share a Three Harmony (三合) group. Those statements are compatible: Six Harmony is a specific set, not a name for every favorable connection. Horse's partner in that set is Goat; Dog's is Rabbit. The accurate short description is therefore a Wu–Xu Fire half-combination (半合), with Tiger absent, alongside primary Fire generating Earth.
For a question about zodiac tradition, this is already a bounded answer. A decision about marriage needs shared intentions, relationship history, and living arrangements; a further BaZi comparison needs actual birth details for both people. Additional information should alter the basis of the analysis, not merely become a source from which to select support for a conclusion that 93 must mean a good marriage.

Frequently asked questions
Should a Tiger person be added to complete the Fire group?
An absent Tiger describes the two branches being compared, not a personnel shortage. It should not determine adding a third person, hiring, or family planning, and another Tiger sign cannot guarantee a better relationship.
Why is Dog Earth if it belongs to a Fire group?
The group's direction and the branch's primary element are different properties. Participating in that relationship does not establish that Xu's primary Earth has become Fire.
Can 93 be read as the probability of a successful marriage?
No. It comes from fixed traditional classification adjustments, has not been calibrated against actual marriages, and does not predict a particular couple's outcome.
