Fire produces Earth, not the other way around. Dragon appears first because of the canonical branch order. If you use production as a metaphor for support, follow where resources go rather than assigning roles from the wording of the title.

This calculation uses the principal element of each Earthly Branch (地支). It does not include hidden stems, seasonal strength or either Day Master. Production alone therefore cannot establish that more Fire is beneficial to a particular person, or promise career or financial gains.

Make support visible, then make room for reciprocity

Consider a concrete example: one person helps the other prepare for an exam. Name the time contributed, the plans postponed and the point at which the helper needs a break. Those roles come from the actual situation, not the animal signs.

Reciprocity need not take the same form as the original help. Taking on a household task or protecting the helper's free time may matter more than returning an identical favour. The useful question is whether both people agree to the exchange, not whether one sign supposedly owes the other energy.

An element pathway is not a completed combination

This scorer finds no Six Harmony (六合), Three Harmony (三合), Six Clash (六冲), Punishment (相刑) or Six Harm (六害) for Dragon-Horse. Horse belongs to the Tiger-Horse-Dog group, while Dragon belongs to Monkey-Rat-Dragon. Producing Earth does not move Horse into Dragon's group.

Nor can an imagined intermediate sign prove that two complete charts form or transform a combination. Additional branches require a fresh analysis of actual chart conditions. The score on this page concerns only the original two year branches.

Design the handover, not just the intention to help

At work, support often succeeds or fails at a handover: who supplies the material, who confirms it is usable and who reports a revision. The Fire-to-Earth theme can open that discussion without predicting that one person is an executor and the other a manager.

For friends, ask what assistance is wanted before offering it, then check whether it reached its purpose. The equal category scores reflect the absence of a primary-relation adjustment; they do not predict identical outcomes in every setting.
