A relationship map, not a ranking
Compatibility asks about one pairing. Synastry asks a wider question: of the people already in your life, who sits where on your chart. Someone whose Life palace star lands in your Parents palace occupies a very different position from someone whose star lands in your Wealth palace, and neither is better.
Two things build each card. First, where the other person's Life palace star sits among your twelve palaces. Second, what their Life palace stem flies into your chart — Hua Lu is what they give you, Hua Ji is where they hold on hardest. A card is marked as draining only when a Hua Ji arrives with no Hua Lu alongside it.
Add two or more people and the map also draws the lines between them, without passing through you. Two people whose Life palaces oppose each other, while yours harmonises with both, puts you structurally in the mediating seat — that is only visible once the lines are drawn.
FAQ
- Will it tell me to cut someone off?
- No, and that is a hard line. The lowest label this tool can produce says the current combination is draining and to watch the pace and boundaries. It attributes the drain to the combination, never to a person.
- How many people can I add?
- As many as you have birth dates for. With two or more, the map also shows how they relate to each other, which is usually the part people have never seen before.
- What if I only have their birth date, no hour?
- The card still gets built and is marked as partial. You can also flag a birth date as a guess, and the card will say so instead of quietly pretending to precision.
