If your recorded time is close to 23:00, 01:00, 03:00, or another two-hour branch boundary, even a small correction can change the Hour Pillar and downstream reading.

Clock time and local solar time can differ substantially when the birthplace is far from the timezone meridian. Local mean time helps correct that difference.

Solar terms, not lunar months
