Without a birth time and place there are no houses, and house overlay is the richest layer in synastry. The Moon also moves about 13° a day, so a noon estimate can be off by more than the synastry orb — with no time, treat anything involving the Moon as directional only.

What synastry actually measures

Synastry lays one chart over another and looks at the angles between the two sets of planets. Your Venus at 14° Leo and their Mars at 16° Sagittarius are 122° apart — a trine, 2° from exact. That is not an interpretation, it is a measurement, and it is the kind of thing this page shows you before it says anything about what it means.

The orbs here are deliberately tighter than natal orbs: 6° for the luminaries, 4° for planets, 2° for minor aspects. Ten planets against ten planets is a hundred pairings, and at natal widths almost any two people would show a dozen contacts — at which point "you have a lot of aspects" stops carrying information.

FAQ

Does a low score mean we are incompatible?
No. Squares and oppositions between two charts describe friction, and friction is also what most long relationships are built out of. The score is a portrait; it is never advice about whether to stay.
Why do you need my birth place?
For houses. Without a place there is no Ascendant, and without an Ascendant there are no house overlays — which is the layer that says where in your life someone lands. We leave that layer out entirely rather than do half of it.

For reflection and self-understanding. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.
