BaZi, ZiWei & Astrology Marriage Compatibility Test

Three systems, the same two charts. Each keeps its own answer; the interesting part is where they part ways.

A missing birth hour costs each system a different amount: in Zi Wei the whole palace layout can shift, in Western astrology the Moon and the houses drop out, in BaZi only the hour pillar is lost. So a missing hour discounts each system separately rather than all three by the same amount.

Why we do not just average the three

Averaging three worldviews produces a number that no system would defend. BaZi reads elemental balance, Zi Wei reads palaces and transformations, Western astrology reads angles between planets — they are answering related but different questions. So each keeps its own score, visible, and the synthesis is weighted by how much each system has earned on that particular question.

The line worth reading is the disagreement. "Both structural systems say steady, the psychological one says draining" is more useful than any single number, because it tells you which part of the relationship is solid and which part costs you something. A page that smooths that into one figure has thrown away its own best information.

FAQ

Which system should I believe?
Where they agree, the reading is more robust than any one of them alone. Where they disagree, do not pick a winner — read what each is actually pointing at. They are looking at different layers.
Why are the weights not equal?
Because the systems are not equally strong at every question. The weights are set in one place, by us, not self-declared by each system — otherwise every new system added would call itself important.
