Sukuyo compatibility and table
Sukuyo compatibility looks at where two birth mansions sit relative to each other on the ring of 27. There are 6 relationship types, each split into near, middle and far distance. Relationships have a direction, so each person stands in a different role. These are relationship portraits, not scores or rankings.
27×27 compatibility table
Rows are your mansion, columns are the other person's, and each cell shows how you see them. The whole table is generated from one rule; no cell is filled in by hand.

Fate (命)
Fate (命) describes two people born under the same lunar mansion. Tradition likens it to looking into a mirror: similar pacing, similar concerns, and an easy sense of being understood. The same likeness can mean both stall at the same obstacle. How the bond unfolds often depends on whether each keeps a distinct role within the resemblance.
Karma–Womb (業胎)
Karma (業) and Womb (胎) sit nine mansions apart. Tradition borrows the image of past and future lives to describe a familiarity that is hard to explain. Two people may feel they have met before, and the bond is often described as nudging each to face certain lessons. The pull is not always comfortable, yet it is rarely easy to ignore.
Prosper–Kin (栄親)
Prosper (栄) and Kin (親) form a mutually supportive pairing. The Prosper side often feels the other opens doors or lends confidence; the Kin side tends to feel closeness and reassurance. Things usually run smoothly and a routine of looking out for each other forms quickly, though that ease can let one person's effort slip into being taken for granted.
Friend–Decline (友衰)
Friend (友) and Decline (衰) make an easygoing, natural pairing. The Friend side often sees the other as someone to talk with about anything; the Decline side may feel relaxed around them, sometimes to the point of losing momentum. Time together rarely feels tense, yet plans can drift and settle into 'some other time'.
Ease–Break (安壊)
Ease (安) and Break (壊) form a pairing with strong attraction and equally strong influence. Two people are often drawn in quickly, and each can visibly shift the other's habits or views. Which side finds it more demanding is not fixed; it can change with the period and setting. The defining trait is intensity, not who holds the upper hand.
Peril–Attain (危成)
Peril (危) and Attain (成) pair two clearly different outlooks that can end up covering each other's gaps. Early on there may be friction, and each might find the other hard to read. Once a division of labor emerges, difference often turns into complement. Most tension tends to come from mismatched pacing rather than opposing goals.
FAQ
Why does each person get a different relationship name?
Sukuyo relationships have a direction. If you see the other person as Prosper (栄), they see you as Kin (親). Both belong to the same Prosper–Kin type; you simply stand on different sides of it.
What do near, middle and far distance mean?
They count how many steps apart the two mansions are on the ring: 1–4 is near, 5–8 middle, 10–13 far. Fate (same mansion) and Karma–Womb have no distance band.
Is Ease–Break (安壊) a bad match?
It is not a verdict. It is usually described as a pairing with strong pull and strong force, where which side finds it harder is not fixed. Paying attention to pace and personal space tends to help more than any label.
Is the other person's birth date stored?
No. Compatibility is calculated in your browser; the dates are not sent to our server or written into the page address.
